Following the 6:30pm Home and School meeting, guest speaker, Amy V. Maus, will present the following program:
No, it isn’t your imagination that children in our nation today seem more anxious and less independent. More entitled and less capable. More worried and less resilient. Why is this?
Come hear author and prolific speaker Amy Maus discuss how to instill grit, self-motivation, and independence in our children, even when the current cultural climate pressures us to do the opposite.
How we create or suppress grit and internal motivation in our kids
Today’s culture says: rescue, manage, and do too much for our children
Why anxiety is on a steep rise in our children and youth
How to build independence, boost self-esteem, and create long-term grit!
Tuesday, March 14th, 7:00 – 8:00 p.m.
All parents, caregivers and staff welcome!
The mission of the Home & School Association is to help foster school spirit. It was organized to help parents and teachers acquire a profound appreciation of the ideals of Catholic education and to promote clearer understanding of the mutual education responsibilities of parents and teachers.
The main objective is to foster communication among the members of our parish families and the school. The Association organizes fundraisers to assist the school in purchasing items that would not normally be found in the operating budget. In addition, they sponsor school events including Catholic Schools Week, Family Nights and Field Day.

The Home & School Association meets on the second Monday of odd-numbered months.
