St. Francis Borgia Grade School's strong faculty and staff are committed to the education as well as the social and spiritual enrichment of every child. Excellent teacher-to-student ratio, full-time learning specialist and staff collaboration aid in identifying the individual needs and learning styles of each student. Our students receive individual attention that addresses their educational needs by providing additional challenges and learning resources.
Our Learning Specialist holds certification in Special Education. She helps children reach their maximum potential and provide individual and small group study for those students in need. The learning specialist works with the Washington School District through the referral process in the areas of reading, written expression, math and speech.
The School Counselor is an employee of Catholic Family Services who asists students in grades K - 8. Students may be referred by parents or faculty members. Students may meet with the counselor in small groups or individually.
Our Registered Nurse provides medical attention and health education to our students and faculty. They also ensure that immunization records comply with the state.
